Safety
Physical safety, when work happens somewhere else.
Most online adult work happens at home. Where it happens in studios or shared locations, a few checks matter more than anything else.
Before working at a location
- Know who operates it — legal entity, owners, how long they have operated.
- Emergency contact — a trusted person who knows where you are and when to expect you back.
- Secure access — can you leave freely at any time? You should be able to.
- Contract and payment clarity — commission, payout timing and account ownership in writing, before the first shift.
- Privacy of your data — where your ID and documents are stored and who can access them.
Home-studio safety basics
- Keep your filming space between you and the door where practical.
- Do not reveal your address, neighborhood or building in content.
- Secure your devices with passcodes, and log out of work accounts when not working.
